Marcus Papadopoulos. Problem-Solver. Innovator. Creator. Engineer
“I think a successful engineer is someone that would say ‘I want to change the world in a meaningful, impactful way.’”
As a youngster, Marcus thought engineers were only those who built cars and roller coasters. In college, a “phenomenal opportunity” to experience Ghana’s maternal health system first-hand solidified his interest in biomedical engineering. At Insight, Marcus uses ethnographic research to solve problems and create innovative solutions for end users.
“The largest impact is [in] making healthcare more accessible,” Marcus says. “It’s been great… seeing users interact with your device and actually having their lives be improved by something that you took the time to create.”
#ImAnEngineer and Newark element14 proudly present the story of Marcus Papadopoulos.
